Ellen’s current work showcases all her styles in Sterling Silver and Precious Metal Clay. She shares this new venture with son Dan Solomons in Sterling Silver.
Dan's art career began as a child swaddled to his mother while she was taking art classes at local universities. Fortunate to have dexterity and an artistic vision that are both direct effects of his mother, Dan demonstrated a desire to continue learning art techniques. Fascinated by the process more than the final result, this endeavor culminated when his mother introduced him to melting silver at 2000°.
With a primary background and construction and music, this gave Dan an opportunity to explore a new mediums beyond those of household products. His designs are unique and absolutely one of a kind. Dan's acumen with silver eventually advanced to the point where his mother was comfortable enough to share a display case with him, which leads us to the inception of 2 Torch Designs.
